Fran’s been working alongside me for about a year now. Francesca works in the clinic on Mondays and Tuesdays, offering later evening appointments until 8.30pm

We sat down and asked a few questions so that you can get to know a bit more about Fran and her skin journey, both personal and professional.

◦ What interested you in working with skin?

I’d always loved receiving treatments of all kinds growing up and had a fascination with how the simplest touch could make you feel so good. When I was in my early 20s I developed adult acne. I began to research key ingredients and methods to help manage my skin concerns. It was only then that I realised just how much I adored this industry. I enrolled on a course and the rest is history.

◦ What’s your favourite treatment to carry out within KE practice?

I am borderline obsessed with the Sculpting treatment. Watching someone’s stresses alleviate from their shoulders, helping to sculpt their cheekbones, and massage away all the tension held in their body is a form of magic. Plus our new Algae Renewal treatment that’s launching soon. It is unbelievable just how much the skin can transform in such a short space of time!

◦ What’s your go-to skincare tip?

Always apply your hyaluronic acid onto damp skin, whether that be by spritzing the skin first or wetting your fingertips. HA will bind to the dampness and will be far more effective than if you were applying it to dry skin. You’ll only truly glow with it if you use it properly. Plus wear SPF every day in all weathers, but this must be every skin specialist's top tip too!

◦ What do you like to do in your time off?

I am an English student at heart, so I adore reading, and can easily lose hours of the day burrowed in a book. I’m also a musical theatre fanatic and you can find me trying to visit all the shows I possibly can in London. Plus I love spicy margarita and a boogie with my friends and family, so much so that I’m starting salsa lessons to develop my very embarrassing dance moves.

◦ What is your desert island skin must have?

A boring option but an essential - my glasses! I am blind as a bat and rely on my trusty contact lenses. I wouldn’t get very far on the island without some vision help as I can barely make out a shape without them.
